Recipes for treats

 
LIVER CAKE


450g liver (lambs or pigs)
450g granary flour
3 eggs
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp oil
dash of milk

Liquidise liver with eggs, milk, oil and garlic. Add to flour and mix.
Put in microwave dish and cook on full power 6 - 10 minutes.

When cooked the cake should "bounce back" when pressed lightly.

Cut into pieces and freeze until required.

Pilchard titbits

1 can pilchards or 2 cans sardines in brine
2 Weetabix
2 eggs
2 cloves garlic
Dash of milk
Brown breadcrumbs

Mix together & microwave for 10 - 15 minutes on full power.


Turkey treats

2 cups cooked turkey, cut up
2 garlic cloves
4 tsp grated cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tbsp brewers yeast
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Combine turkey, garlic, cheese, parsley and mix well. Beat the eggs in a bowl and pour over turkey mixture. Add the flour, yeast, and oil. Stir until thoroughly mixed and all ingredients are coated. Drop into small lumps onto un-greased cookie sheet. Cook in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes, until brown and firm. Store in refrigerator.

Beefburger pieces

3-4 beefburgers
2 eggs
veg oil
Half a carrot, grated
1 clove garlic

Blend ingredients and add enough flour to form a dough, roll to a centimetre thick, then bake in moderate oven for half an hour.
Cut into tiny cubes and continue to dry out in a low oven.
